Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world, and the largest country in South America where it occupies half the continent and borders every other country except Ecuador and Chile. The Amazon -- the largest river in the world -- cuts its way across the top of the country through the vast Amazon rain forest.
Brazil enjoys vast amounts of natural mineral resources, and has lots of coffee beans and cocoa (among other things). Brazil is the only South American country whose national language is Portuguese.
All coin images in Daniel's Coin Zoo are from my personal collection. I collect, research, and personally photograph every coin displayed on this site. PLEASE do not take my images without permission. If you would like to use any coin image you see, just ask me. Thank you.
