Mustangs
The state quarter program was launched in 1999, with five different quarters being issued each year for 10 years.
Nevada did a decent job and came up with a very nice coin design. The three wild mustangs are well executed and in good perspective with the rising sun over the distant snow-capped mountains. The package is wrapped up nicely with sagebrush borders on the sides, and a banner across the bottom. If they had opted for a single horse, it would have been even better.
