Lithuania 2-EURO (KM212)

Horse

Lithuania joined the European Union in 2002, and adopted the Euro on January 1, 2015. Their first set of Euro coins maintains their identity with the image of Vytis -- the White Knight -- on horseback.

Because all 2 euro coins are bimetallic with a nickel-brass centre in a copper-nickel ring, that gives us a golden horse with silver hooves (and socks).
