Damselfish
There are about 1,000 species of fish in Seychelles. There are also 51 species of Damselfish (family Pomacentridae, which also includes Clownfish) in the western Indian Ocean.
This coin was issued in 1976 only and was the first coin of the new Republic of Seychelles.
