The White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) measures a metre or more from beak to tail, with a wingspan ranging from 1.5 m to over 2 m. Big enough to carry a baby.

Slovenia switched to the euro in 2007, and the White stork design was carried over from their former 20-tolarjev coin.
