Ostrich
The Common ostrich is a large, flightless bird native to Africa that is very familiar to most people. When threatened, they either hide by lying flat against the ground (hidden in the grass), or they run away at up to 70 km/h, which is fast. They are the largest living species of bird and lay the largest egg of any living bird.
