Tanzania
The United Republic of Tanzania is the oldest known continually inhabited area on earth with hominid fossil finds dating back two million years.
The country features Mount Killimanjaro (Africa's highest mountain), Lake Victoria (Africa's largest lake), and Lake Tanganyika (Africa's deepest lake). Central Tanzania is dominated by a large plateau and is home to many significant wildlife parks, including Serengeti National Park.
Tanzania is culturally rich with its own forms of music, many writers, and world-renowned art, including Tingatinga.
