This 1988 coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. The image on the reverse of the coin is the hospital's emblem, which features two snakes: one small snake winding around a horizontal staff, and one monstrous snake who looks very much like a Nāga.
All coin images in Daniel's Coin Zoo are from my personal collection. I collect, research, and personally photograph every coin displayed on this site. PLEASE do not take my images without permission. If you would like to use any coin image you see, just ask me. Thank you.
