In 2010, the US Mint launched the "America the Beautiful" quarters program. Five quarters will be issued each year through 2020 (and one in 2021), for a total of 56 different designs. Each quarter will depict a national park or site from each of the 50 states, the federal district, and each territory).
Oklahoma's quarter features Chickasaw National Recretion Center and the Lincoln memorial bridge. Unfortunately, the US Mint site does not mention the flock of birds in the background, but they look like ducks to me.
Thanks to Marilynn for sending this quarter to me!
