USA 25-CENTS (KM399)

Horse

The state quarter program was launched in 1999, with five different quarters being issued each year for 10 years.

Wyoming went with a silhouette of a cowboy on a bucking horse to represent Wyoming's "wild west" past (which is mostly fictional). "The Equality State" refers to Wyoming being the first territory to grant women the right to vote, serve on juries, and hold public office.
