Russia 10-RUBLES (Y971)

This coin is from 'The Russian Federation' series, a series of coins that started in 2005 with each celebrating a region of Russia.

This issue is for the Republic of Khakassia, located in the south-western part of eastern Siberia. The coin shows the coat of arms, which features a winged snow leopard. The snow leopard is a common symbol in the areas where they live (and even outside those areas).
