Rams have been trained to fight for sport in Algeria. Apparently this has been going on for quite a long time.
The original rams head 20-centime coin was minted in 1975 (KM107.1, 107.2), and again in 1987 (this coin). This coin has a smaller date, and the legends on the obverse are different, although, I have no idea what they say.
