Shrimp are decapod crustaceans, meaning they have ten legs and an outer shell. Larger shrimp species are an important food source that is often mistakenly referred to as prawns (and prawns are mistakenly called shrimp). Prawns and shrimp are actually two different animals.
The obverse of this coin features the Huge Dragon of the Fjord of Weapons, one of the four mythological guardian spirits of Iceland.
