Brazil 1-REAL (KM-new)

Brazil switched to the "Real" in 1994, and this circulating commemorative coin celebrates the 25th anniversary of that monetary reform.

The obverse features a hummingbird feeding her chicks. This same image appeared on the original 1 real banknote in 1994, and Wikipedia identifies it as a Sapphire-spangled emerald.
