Armenia 50-DRAM (KM218)

Horses

In 2012 the Central Bank of Armenia issued a series of 50 dram circulating coins celebrating the regions of Armenia. This coin commemorates Shirak Province.

The image of the obverse of this coin is a pair of horses pulling a phaeton carriage, a sporty type of open carriage that was popular in the late 19th century.
