Tibet
Tibet as an independent country existed from 1912 to 1951. It was formed after the fall of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) and lasted until it was annexed by the Peoples' Republic of China in 1951.
The original Tibetan Empire existed on the Tibetan Plateau and beyond from 618 to 841.
