Graphium idaeoides is a species of swallowtail butterfly endemic to the Philippines. I believe the common name is Kite Swallowtail.
This coin was issued in this larger 21 mm size from 1983 to 1990, then in a reduced version measuring 16 mm from 1991 to 1994.
