The original copper-nickel elephant-head 20 cent coin had a scalloped edge (KM11, 42, 50, with different obverse portraits). It was replaced with a smaller round coin in 2011 that was apparently too large because it was replaced with a smaller version that same year. Four years later, this new larger coin was issued that split the difference in size.
I have to wonder if there are any vending machines in Swaziland, because all this size changing would totally mess with coin machines.
All coin images in Daniel's Coin Zoo are from my personal collection. I collect, research, and personally photograph every coin displayed on this site. PLEASE do not take my images without permission. If you would like to use any coin image you see, just ask me. Thank you.
