The Ankole-Watusi is a breed of cattle native to Africa. They have huge, distinctive horns that can grow up to 1.8 m long. Their ability to survive on limited food and water has ensured centuries of survival in Africa.
In 2006, Sudan underwent monetary reform with the introduction of the "new pound" which is subdivided into 100 qirsh or piastres. This coin was issued one year only in non-magnetic and magnetic (KM124a) versions.
