This 2 dobra coin was minted in 1977 only and although it has not been demonetized (as of 2014) it is rarely seen in circulation now due to inflation. It is actually an FAO coin, and the reverse legend is a Portuguese translation of the FAO slogan "Grow More Food."
Goats are a standard farm animal in São Tomé and Príncipe.
