Issued by the Equatorial African States (precursor to Central African States) for initial release in Cameroon, this pack of Giant Eland was free to roam about the member countries.
This coin was first issued in 1961 in Aluminum-Bronze (KM2). In 1965 the metal alloy was altered slightly. The last minting was in 1972.
