The Raso Lark is a critically endangered bird found in only one place in the world: the tiny seven-square kilometer island of Razo in Cape Verde. The island has no permanent water and has never been inhabited. The estimated population is ~150 birds, only one-third of which are females.
Like the other coins in this series, this piece was minted one year only. This is a nice, hefty coin, measuring 2.55 mm thick.
