Tunisia
The Tunisian Republic is the northern most country in Africa, with about 1,300 km of coastline on the Mediterranean Sea. The southern part of the country is in the Sahara Desert, the north-western part is mountainous, and much of the remainder is fertile soil.
The Tunisian revolution began in December 2010, and led to free and democratic elections.
