Biafra
Biafra was a secessionist state in Nigeria that existed from May 1967 to June 1970. Arising from economic, cultural, and religious tensions among the various people of Nigeria, it was populated mainly by the Igbo people.
Biafra was only recognized by five countries, although others provided support. Its creation was among the causes of the Nigerian Civil War.
