Northern Caracara

Mexico struck a silver 10-centavos piece from 1905 to 1914, which was replaced by this smaller version for one year only in 1919. It contains .0466 ounces of silver (compared to .0643 ounces for its predecessor). The very same year, this coin would be replaced by a large bronze coin.
