In 2016 the Royal Mint issued a series of five circulating commemorative coins to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter, the author and illustrator of the Peter Rabbit series of children's books.
In 1905, Potter published The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle. It was inspired by her pet hedgehog, named Tiggy-Winkle. There were 5 million of this coin minted.
