Saker Falcon

The Saker Falcon is found from eastern Europe to western China. It is one of the largest falcons, growing up to 55 cm in length with a wing span up to 129 cm. The Saker specializes in 'open pursuit' hunting. Its main target is rodents in grasslands, where the Saker's quick acceleration and high maneuverability make it successful in horizontal pursuits.
