Hungary 5-FORINT (KM694) Great White Egret
The Great White Egret (aka Great Egret, White Heron, Common Egret, or Kotuku in New Zealand) is found mostly in tropical and warmer temperate areas, as well as southern Europe.
This coin was first issued in 1992 as part of Hungary's Second Republic coinage (1989-present). Confusingly, the "Second Republic" is also the third republic, since there was a "Peoples' Republic" (1949-1989) between the First Republic and Second Republic.
