Reichsadler (Eagle)

Originally named Reichsadler ("Imperial Eagle" or "National Eagle"), this heraldic eagle dates back to the Roman eagle standard used by Holy Roman Emperors.

This coin is from the Weimar Republic period of German history, between the two world wars. It was minted from 1927 to 1938.
