Red-billed Streamertail Hummingbird
The Red-billed streamertail hummingbird (aka Doctor bird) is the national bird of Jamaica. It is the most abundant member of the hummingbird family on the island and is found nowhere else. The male has two long feathers on either side of its tail that are up to 17 cm long, which is far bigger than the bird's body. These tails make a humming sound when the bird flies.
